Healthy Homemade Fig Bars

This easy healthy fig bars are so good! Made with homemade fig paste this will be your new favorite snack! (And it’s easy to make!!)

What’s in it?

2 1/2 cups oat flour*

1 tsp baking powder

4 tbs collagen

2 tbs chia seeds

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 cup mct oil or coconut oil

1/4 cup maple syrup

2 egg yolks

About 1 cup of Healthy homemade fig paste

How do ya make it?

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Make homemade fig paste.
  2. Blend oats*. Whisk together all the dry ingredients in a large bowl. Then mix in the wet ingredients.
  3. Flatten out your dough on a silicone baking sheet, then place another silicone baking sheet on top and roll until about 1/4 inch thick.
  4. Cut dough in half down the middle then place the fig paste in the middle of each side**. Fold one side together and place on a baking sheet seam side down. Bake until puffed a little bit, about 15 minutes. Enjoy!!

*Blending oat flour is super easy, just put the oats in a coffee grinder and blend!!
