And the secret? The Kirkland’s signature nut butter with almonds, cashews, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, and flax seeds. I don’t know what’s so good about this nut butter but for some reason when mixed with whey, honey, and chocolate chips, your gonna say “it’s the best protein bar i ever had!” So good…. I can never make some ahead of time because the more I make the more we’ll just eat right then! I hope y’all enjoy these protein bars as much as we do!!!

Why Whey?
Whey protein is so good for, but first, why protein?
Proteins are the main building blocks of your body, used to make muscles, tendons, organs and skin, as well as enzymes, hormones, neurotransmitters and various tiny molecules that serve many important functions.
So, make sure you get at least 45g protein a day! For 29g of Whey, there is 25g of protein.
Whey protein health benefits
- Promotes muscle growth
- Helps weight loss
- Lowers blood pressure
- Help treat type 2 diabetes
- Anti inflammatory
- Reduces hunger
- Anti-cancer properties
There are benefits to the nuts and seeds in the recipe but we’re trying to focus on the protein:)

This can also make protein balls!! Soooo good….
Makes 4 bars or 12 balls. Takes like as long as you can read this and put these ingredients in a bowl.
THE recipe…
1/2 cup Kirkland’s signature mixed but butter
1/2 cup whey
1 Tb honey
Chocolate chips to your liking (we like a lot).
The how to…
- Start by putting the nut butter in a bowl, then add the whey and honey, then the chocolate chips.
- Put in a pan and let it sit until firm, or just eat it right away:)

Whichever way you eat them, ENJOY!!!
