Cold brew Earl grey latte with spherical coffee bomb

Ok, I’m gonna start out with saying this, WHY ISN’T THIS MORE OF A THING? I mean, coffee in a round ball dunked in deliciousness creamy earl grey that’s been steeped in cold milk in the fridge for hours, who wouldn’t like this? Need it sweeter? Add some maple syrup, want it dairy free? Use your favorite dairy alternative if you want, I can imagine oat milk would be pretty good! But I’m gonna stick to raw whole milk…:)

What is spherical ice?

Well, it’s ice that’s in a spherical shape!;) Making it fun to bomb your drinks with a little flavorful burst. like turning leftover coffee into balls and dumping into milk that’s been infused with loose leaf earl grey tea.

How to make this delicious drink?

1}. Pour leftover coffee in spheres according to packaging instructions (use espresso coffee for more flavor) let freeze completely. Infuse your milk by placing it in a pitcher or glass like the one above and place earl grey loose leaf (or tea bags) in the glass and shake, let the milk and tea marry in the fridge for at least 3 hours but for more flavor try overnight.

2}. Strain tea (if using loose leaf) in your glass. We put a smidge of blueberry concentrate with the milk for color but really that’s not necessary:)

Prepare other glasses if making more then on.

3}. Time for the bomb!!! Pop your coffee sphere from the mold.

Prepare to drop

Now drop!!

And there it is folks! Ok, you don’t really have to “drop”i t but why not? Oh yeah, because it makes a big mess, really it’s just fun for a picture…. if you don’t want a milky mess to pick up then you can lightly drop it in and still enjoy this amazing drink:)

Thanks to my big sister Paisley Potter for helping me out on these pictures!!

Add a bit of maple syrup or your choice of sweetener if your sweet tooth’s kickin’ in.
