Is the Canon R5 worth the money?? In short words, yes. I love my new Canon!! The pictures come out beautifully.
I had the pleasures of doing a photo shot for a big food company that carries my families beverages (Tractor beverages) in the restaurants, which then led to me gettin’ a update on my camera. At the time I had a rebel T6 that my amazing parents gave to me for Christmas, I asked my awesome cousin what new camera I should get and with out a doubt he said canon R5. He told me about them taking out the mirror because the mirror apparently decreases the quality by .001%, which being a photographer you know that any percentage counts!!
If you have never heard of this new camera, let me explain:
What is the Canon EOS R5?
The new Canon EOS R5 is a mirrorless camera that came out July 2020. What they have done is they’ve taken the mirror out to help keep the quality up!! It’s a beautiful simple camera that has amazing features like tapping on where you want to focus (not sure if other cameras have this?). It’s touch screen, but also has the controls on the top. I will be updating with things I love about the R5!!
What lens do I use?
Well I got the 35mm 1.8f made for the R5 because I usually do close up pics and the 1.8f really helps with the focal point being spot on. but of course if your more of a landscape or animal photographer then you may want to find a zoom lens made for the R5.
The quality is amazing, you can zoom so closely to pictures and see crazy detail!!
