Ginger Cocoa Orange honey latte+espresso bomb

Awhile back I did a Cold brew Earl grey latte with spherical coffee bomb and I just had way to much fun with that 😂. Soooo… I decided it’s time to do it again!! I mean, making a mess while creating a new coffee, whillllle doing photography?! Yes please!!

Ok enough about how much fun we had tho, let’s get to the drink!! So you start out with this beautiful, silky, full-of-flavor honey, then top that with milk (raw milk if you have it!!) then for the fun part, drop the coffee bomb in!! Or if you want to skip the mess just simply placing it in works too 😁.

A thank you to my sister, Paisley, for helping me 😉

Do I neeeeed spherical molds?!

Not at all!! You can freeze the coffee in any mold, or just simply pour the coffee straight in the milk and add regular ice!! The only sad thing about that is the ice will water down your drink… that’s why I like the coffee cubes 😂. And it’s a great way to use up leftover coffee!!

Let’s talk about this honey shall we… with the brightness of the orange, the warmth of the cocoa and vanilla, and the bite in the ginger; this honey is your new favorite way to spice up your coffee!! Mix it in hot or cold, or, don’t want a coffee?! Try it in black tea or even with just some warm milk!!

I was kinda goin off of the “Cafe de Olla” coffee from Mexico!! Spiced with cocoa and warm spices like cinnamon and anise, then rounded out with orange peel it makes for a great cup o Joe!!

What’s in it?!

Ginger Cocoa Orange honey:

1/4 teaspoon vanilla

1/2 teaspoon cocoa

1/4 teaspoon ginger

2 drops orange oil

honey to taste

Pinch of salt

Coffee bomb

1 tablespoon instant espresso

Spherical ice cub mold

aaaand your milk of choice!!:)

How do ya make it?!

  1. Coffee bomb: make instant espresso and pour into spherical molds, freeze for at least two hours.
  2. For the honey, mix all the ingredients together until will combined. (If you like less sweet you may need to add a bit of hot water to get the cocoa to mix)
  3. Now, drizzle the honey on the bottom, pour milk over, and BOOM!! Add your best ice cube ever…
  4. Enjoy!!!
