Charcuterie wraps {when all else fails, just wrap it}

Mmmm…. charcuterie boards…. cheese… meat…. fruit…. the good stuff…. but, what if we can create a more “inventive” way of eating them? 🤔 BOOM!!! Charcuterie wraps. Yup. Wraps. There’s something amazing about being able to hold everything delicious together in your hand. These wraps are sure to make someone smile!

This is really just to help you get creative with your food!! Go ahead, take this idea but make it with your own twist on it!! Maybe your favorite thing from charcuterie boards is almonds, or cranberries, or something else… just through it in there!! Have fun guys!! Don’t be afraid!!

How to make them:

  • Start with a soft cheese… I used Labneh from brush creek farms here in Idaho!!
  • Add some veggies!! I made a quick pickled sweet pepper, onion, green mix, ACV, honey, and apple mixture.
  • Fruits, a must. I diced some apples and threw it into the veggie mix:)
  • Meat it up! I did salami and cheese curds diced up.
  • Top it off with more cheese… I did herbed cheese curds mixed with the salami as I mentioned above:).
  • Other ideas… add some basil, dried cranberries, or any other fun charcuterie things!!

What’s in them?

  • Toothpicks
  • Your favorite tortillas
  • Labneh
  • For the quick pickle veggie mix:
  • 5 mini Sweet peppers
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 apple
  • 3 cups mixed greens
  • 5 Basil leaves
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • For the meat and cheese:
  • 1/4 of a whole salami, diced
  • 1/2 cup cheese curds, diced

How do ya make it?

  1. For the quick pickled veggie mix: dice all the ingredients, drizzle ACV and honey and let sit while preparing the rest of the ingredients.
  2. Dice salami and cheese curds and mix together.
  3. To assemble, spread Labneh on tortilla, lay about 1/4 cup quick pickled veggies, then top with salami and cheese curd mix.
  4. Roll tightly, poke toothpicks in each side so that when you cut into it, it holds together. Slice in half at an angle. Serve and enjoy!!
