This dough is where dreams come true, from cinnamon rolls, Christmas tree twist, monkey bread, killer dinner rolls, you name it, this dough is amazing!!

Simple, easy, fun, delicious, creative. The simple part that makes this dough amazing is a step you must not skip, when your milk is ok the stovetop after it warms up with the butter you mix in some of the bread flour and voala!! AMAZING!!

What’s in it?

  • 3 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup grass fed European butter, cubed
  • 1/2 cup warm water at 115°F
  • 1 tablespoon yeast (or one package)
  • 1/4 cup cane sugar
  • 1/3 cup sourdough starter, opt.
  • 2 farm fresh chicken eggs
  • 9-10 cups bread flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt

How do you make it?

  1. On the stove top heat milk and butter to 130°F, once warmer turn off stovetop and mix in 3 cups of bread flour (to get the nice stringy texture) meanwhile, in a large bowl, add warm water, sugar, and yeast.
  2. Now add the milk/flour mixture to the water/yeast mixture, add in sourdough starter, eggs, the rest of the bread flour, and salt. Knead until soft and smooth, about 10 minutes. Place in oiled bowl and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
  3. Now from here on out get creative!! make cinnamon rolls, dinner rolls, breadsticks, monkey bread(amazing monkey bread), anything your heart desires!!
